Section 80-4-201 - Petition - Who may file - Dismissal(1) Any interested party, including a foster parent, may file a petition for termination of parental rights.(2) The attorney general shall file a petition for termination of parental rights under this chapter on behalf of the division.(3) The juvenile court may dismiss a petition for termination of parental rights at any stage of the proceedings.Renumbered from § 78A-6-504 and amended by Chapter 261, 2021 General Session ,§ 98, eff. 9/1/2021.Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 3, 2008 General Session .
