Section 78B-3a-206 - Transitory actions(1) Except for a transitory action under Subsection (2), a plaintiff shall bring a transitory action arising outside the state in the county where the defendant resides if the action is brought in this state.(2) A plaintiff shall bring a transitory action arising outside the state in favor of residents of this state in the county where: (a) the plaintiff resides; or(b) the principal defendant resides.Added by Chapter 401, 2023 General Session ,§ 113, eff. 7/1/2024.
