Section 77-11b-402 - Criminal Forfeiture Restricted Account(1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the "Criminal Forfeiture Restricted Account."(2) Except as provided in Section 77-11b-401, the commission shall deposit any proceeds from property forfeited through a forfeiture proceeding under this chapter into the Criminal Forfeiture Restricted Account.(3) The Legislature shall appropriate money in the Criminal Forfeiture Restricted Account to the commission for the purpose of implementing the State Asset Forfeiture Grant Program described in Section 77-11b-403.Renumbered from § 24-4-116 and amended by Chapter 448, 2023 General Session ,§ 53, eff. 5/3/2023.Amended by Chapter 230, 2021 General Session ,§ 28, eff. 5/5/2021.Added by Chapter 394, 2013 General Session ,§ 27, eff. 7/1/2013.
