Section 76-8-107 - Alteration of proposed legislative bill or resolution(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-8-101 apply to this section.(2) An actor commits alteration of proposed legislative bill or resolution if the actor fraudulently alters the draft of a bill or resolution that has been presented to either of the houses composing the Legislature to be passed or adopted, with intent to procure the proposed legislative bill or resolution being passed or adopted by either house, or certified by the presiding officer of either house in language different from that intended by either house.Amended by Chapter TBD, 2024 General Session ,§ 29, eff. 5/1/2024.Amended by Chapter 32, 1974 General Session
