Section 76-6-204 - Burglary of a vehicle - Charge of other offense(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-6-201 apply to this section.(2) An actor commits burglary of a vehicle if the actor unlawfully enters any vehicle with intent to commit a felony or theft.(3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a class A misdemeanor.(4) A charge against an actor for a violation of Subsection (2) does not preclude a charge for a commission of any other offense.Amended by Chapter 111, 2023 General Session ,§ 38, eff. 5/3/2023.Enacted by Chapter 196, 1973 General Session
