Section 67-16-11 - Applicability of provisions(1) As used in this section, "government position" means the position of a legislator, public officer, or public employee.(2) The provisions of this chapter:(a) apply to all public officers and public employees; and(b) do not apply to a conflict of interest that exists between two or more government positions held by the same individual, unless the conflict of interest is also due to a personal interest of the individual that is not shared by the general public.Amended by Chapter 360, 2016 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 5/10/2016.Amended by Chapter 92, 1998 General Session
