Section 53F-2-302.1 - Enrollment Growth Contingency Program(1) As used in this section: (a) "Program funds" means money appropriated under the Enrollment Growth Contingency Program.(b) "Student enrollment count" means the enrollment count on the first school day of October, as described in Section 53F-2-302.(2) There is created the Enrollment Growth Contingency Program to mitigate funding impacts on an LEA resulting from student enrollment irregularities regarding kindergarten.(3) Subject to legislative appropriations, the state board, in consultation with the Office of the Legislative Fiscal Analyst and the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget, shall use program funds to fund additional WPUs if the student enrollment count for kindergarten exceeds the amount of legislative appropriations for kindergarten.Amended by Chapter 467, 2023 General Session ,§ 5, eff. 7/1/2023.Amended by Chapter 347, 2023 General Session ,§ 3, eff. 5/3/2023.Amended by Chapter 1, 2022 General Session ,§ 4, eff. 2/2/2022.Added by Chapter 6, 2021 General Session ,§ 2, eff. 2/4/2021.Affected by 63I-2-253 on 7/1/2023
