Section 53B-2a-202 - Degree-granting institutions that provide technical education - Duties - Board evaluation(1) A degree-granting institution described in Section 53B-2a-201: (a) shall: (i) fulfill the technical college duties described in Subsections 53B-2a-106(1) and (2); and(ii) report annually to the board on: (A) the status of technical education in the degree-granting institution's service area; and(B) student tuition and fees for the technical education programs provided by the degree-granting institution; and(b) may not exercise any jurisdiction over career and technical education provided by a school district or charter school independently of the school district or charter school.(2) The board shall monitor and evaluate the impact of degree programs on technical education provided by a degree-granting institution described in Section 53B-2a-201.Added by Chapter 187, 2021 General Session ,§ 14, eff. 5/5/2021.
