Section 53B-27-609 - Statute of limitations(1) The attorney general may not bring an action under this part later than one year after the day on which the cause of action accrues.(2) The cause of action accrues on the day on which the student or student organization receives final notice, from the institution, of sanction or discipline that violates an institution's rule or policy.Added by Chapter 74, 2024 General Session ,§ 9, eff. 5/1/2024.
