Section 53-1-106.5 - Utah Medical Cannabis Act - Department dutiesIn addition to the duties described in Section 53-1-106, the department shall:
(1) provide standards for training peace officers and law enforcement agencies in the use of the state electronic verification system; and(2) collaborate with the Department of Health and the Department of Agriculture and Food to provide standards for training peace officers and law enforcement agencies in medical cannabis law.Amended by Chapter 1, 2018SP3 General Session ,§ 100, eff. 12/3/2018.Added by Utah Proposition 2, Medical Marijuana Initiative (2018), approved by the voters at the general election held on 11/6/2018, and effective 12/1/2018.
