Section 49-21-105 - Purpose - Flexibility - Administration(1) The purpose of this chapter is to provide long-term disability benefits for an eligible employee.(2) Subject to the provisions of Section 49-21-201, the program may include one or more long-term disability benefit plans that differ from the benefit plan specified by this chapter for an eligible employee of a covered employer as defined under Section 49-20-102.(3) The program shall be administered by the office, under policies and rules adopted by the board.Amended by Chapter 66, 2013 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 5/14/2013.Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 250, 2002 General Session
