Section 4-31-114 - Report of vesicular disease(1) A person who identifies symptoms of vesicular disease in livestock shall immediately report it to the department.(2) The department may report a veterinarian licensed in this state to the veterinarian's licensing authority for the veterinarian's failure to report a diagnosed case of vesicular disease to the department.(3) Failure by an owner of livestock to report symptoms of vesicular disease among the owner's livestock constitutes forfeiture of the right to claim an indemnity for an animal euthanized on account of the disease.Amended by Chapter 59, 2024 General Session ,§ 13, eff. 5/1/2024.Amended by Chapter 345, 2017 General Session ,§ 313, eff. 7/1/2017.Renumbered from § 4-31-15 and amended by Chapter 331, 2012 General Session ,§ 21, eff. 5/8/2012.Enacted by Chapter 2, 1979 General Session
