Section 4-24-309 - Livestock emergency(1) As used in this section, "livestock emergency" means: (a) the presence of a contagious, infectious, or transmissible disease risk to livestock; or(b) a natural disaster which may affect livestock.(2) During a livestock emergency, the department may require a person transporting livestock to present the livestock for brand inspection.Renumbered from § 4-24-16.3 and amended by Chapter 345, 2017 General Session ,§ 265, eff. 7/1/2017.Added by Chapter 161, 2015 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 5/12/2015.
