Section 26B-3-121 - Rural hospitals(1) As used in this section "rural hospital" means a hospital located outside of a standard metropolitan statistical area, as designated by the United States Bureau of the Census.(2) For purposes of the Medicaid program, the division may not discriminate among rural hospitals on the basis of size.Renumbered from § 26-18-11 and amended by Chapter 306, 2023 General Session ,§ 21, eff. 5/3/2023.Amended by Chapter 393, 2019 General Session ,§ 9, eff. 5/14/2019.Amended by Chapter 297, 2011, 2011 General Session
