Section 26B-2-226 - Information regarding certain health care facility chargesA health care facility licensed under this part shall, when requested by a consumer:
(1) make a list of prices charged by the facility available for the consumer that includes the facility's: (a) in-patient procedures;(b) out-patient procedures;(c) the 50 most commonly prescribed drugs in the facility;(d) imaging services; and(2) provide the consumer with information regarding any discounts the facility provides for: (a) charges for services not covered by insurance; or(b) prompt payment of billed charges.Renumbered from § 26-21-27 and amended by Chapter 305, 2023 General Session ,§ 154, eff. 5/3/2023.Amended by Chapter 353, 2021 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 5/5/2021.Amended by Chapter 382, 2020 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 5/12/2020.Enacted by Chapter 68, 2010 General Session.
