Section 23A-4-601 - Fishing license(1) A person 12 years old or older shall purchase a fishing license before engaging in a regulated fishing activity.(2) Upon paying the fee prescribed by the Wildlife Board, a person may obtain a license to fish and engage in a regulated fishing activity in accordance with the rules, proclamations, and orders of the Wildlife Board.(3) A person under 12 years old may fish without a license in accordance with the rules, proclamations, and orders of the Wildlife Board.Renumbered from § 23-19-21 and amended by Chapter 103, 2023 General Session ,§ 81, eff. 7/1/2023.Amended by Chapter 21, 2014 General Session ,§ 2, eff. 5/13/2014.Amended by Chapter 187, 2007 General Session
