Section 20A-3a-106 - Rulemaking authority relating to conducting an electionThe director of elections, within the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, may make rules, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, establishing requirements for:
(1) a return envelope described in Subsection 20A-3a-202(4), to ensure uniformity and security of the envelopes;(2) complying with the signature comparison audit requirements described in Section 20A-3a-402.5; or(3) conducting and documenting the identity verification process described in Subsection 20A-3a-401(7)(b).Added by Chapter 297, 2023 General Session ,§ 15, eff. 5/3/2023.
