Section 17B-1-113 - Liability insurance(1) Each special district with an annual operating budget of $50,000 or more shall obtain liability insurance as considered appropriate by the special district board.(2) Each special district with an annual operating budget of less than $50,000 is not required to obtain liability insurance, but liability insurance is encouraged, as considered appropriate by the special district board.Amended by Chapter 15, 2023 General Session ,§ 25, eff. 2/27/2023.Amended by Chapter 37, 2019 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 5/14/2019.Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 329, 2007 General Session.
