Section 11-55-102 - DefinitionsAs used in this chapter:
(1) "Board" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-3-106.(2) "Board member" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-3-106.(3) "Municipality" means the same as that term is defined in Section 10-1-104.(4) "Political subdivision" means a county, municipality, school district, limited purpose local government entity described in Title 17B, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Special Districts, Title 17C, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Community Reinvestment Agency Act, or Title 17D, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Other Entities, or an entity created by an interlocal agreement adopted under Title 11, Chapter 13, Interlocal Cooperation Act, or any other governmental subdivision or public corporation.Amended by Chapter 16, 2023 General Session ,§ 46, eff. 2/27/2023.Added by Chapter 70, 2017 General Session ,§ 3, eff. 5/9/2017.
