Section 151503 - Purposes(a) SPECIFIC PURPOSES.-The purposes of the corporation are as provided in the articles of incorporation and include-(1) bringing into working relations with one another, music clubs and other musical organizations and individuals associated with musical activity for the purpose of developing and maintaining high musical standards;(2) aiding and encouraging musical education; and(3) promoting American music and American artists throughout the United States and the world.(b) PATRIOTIC, CIVIC, AND HISTORICAL ORGANIZATION.-The corporation shall function as a patriotic, civic, and historical organization as authorized by the laws of each State in which it is incorporated.
