Section 128 - National Maritime Day(a) DESIGNATION.-May 22 is National Maritime Day.(b) PROCLAMATION.-The President is requested to issue each year a proclamation calling on-(1) the people of the United States to observe National Maritime Day by displaying the flag of the United States at their homes or other suitable places; and(2) United States Government officials to display the flag on all Government buildings on National Maritime Day.
