STATUTORY NOTES AND RELATED SUBSIDIARIES
EFFECTIVE DATE Pub. L. 104-201, div. A, title XII, §1257(b), Sept. 23, 1996, 110 Stat. 2699, provided that: "Section 10543 of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), shall apply with respect to each future-years defense program submitted to Congress after the date of the enactment of this Act [Sept. 23, 1996]."
TERMINATION OF REPORTING REQUIREMENTS For termination, effective Dec. 31, 2021, of provisions of this section requiring submittal of report to Congress, see section 1061 of Pub. L. 114-328, set out as a note under section 111 of this title.
REQUIRED LEVEL OF DETAIL Pub. L. 105-85, div. A, title X, §1009(b), Nov. 18, 1997, 111 Stat. 1872, provided that: "The level of detail provided for procurement and military construction in the future-years defense programs for fiscal years after fiscal year 1998 may not be less than the level of detail provided for procurement and military construction in the future-years defense program for fiscal year 1998."
