Section 9023 - Chief of Legislative Liaison
(a) There is a Chief of Legislative Liaison in the Department of the Air Force.
(b) The Chief of Legislative Liaison shall perform legislative affairs functions as specified for the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force by section 9014(c)(1)(F) of this title.

L. 115-232, §809(a), substituted "section 9014(c)(1)(F)" for "section 8014(c)(1)(F)". 2016-Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 114-328 struck out second sentence which read as follows: "An officer assigned to that position shall be an officer in the grade of major general."

grade
The term "grade" means a step or degree, in a graduated scale of office or military rank, that is established and designated as a grade by law or regulation.
officer
The term "officer" means a commissioned or warrant officer.
