Section 66.326 - Tax Appraisal, Assessment, and Collection(a) The Tax Code governs the appraisal, assessment, and collection of district taxes.(b) The board may provide for the appointment of a tax assessor-collector for the district or may contract for the assessment and collection of taxes as provided by the Tax Code.Added by Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 734, Sec. 1, eff. 9/1/1985.
