Section 60.246 - Powers of Converted District(a) Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to deprive a converted district of any powers conferred on it by the law under which it was organized.(b) A converted district shall have the additional powers conferred on districts under Sections 61.151, 61.161-61.168, 61.170, and 61.172-61.175 of this code, and the commissioners of a converted district shall constitute a pilot board under the provisions of Chapter 62, Transportation Code.(c) If there is a conflict between the powers conferred by Section 60.245 of this code and the powers preserved by Subsection (a) of this section, the powers conferred by Section 60.245 shall control.Amended by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 30.278, eff. 9/1/1997.
