Section 58.027 - Multicounty District: Consideration By Commission(a) The commission shall have exclusive jurisdiction and power to consider and determine all petitions for creation of a district that will include land or property located in two or more counties.(b) The orders of the commission concerning the organization of a district shall be final, unless an appeal is taken from the orders as provided in this subchapter.Amended by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1070, Sec. 36, eff. 9/1/1997.Added by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff. 8/29/1977.
