Section 36.115 - Drilling or Altering Well Without Permit(a) No person, firm, or corporation may drill a well without first obtaining a permit from the district.(b) No person, firm, or corporation may alter the size of a well or well pump such that it would bring that well under the jurisdiction of the district without first obtaining a permit from the district.(c) No person, firm, or corporation may operate a well without first obtaining a permit from the district.(d) A violation occurs on the first day the drilling, alteration, or operation begins and continues each day thereafter until the appropriate permits are approved.Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 933, Sec. 2, eff. 9/1/1995.
