Section 36.103 - Improvements and Facilities(a) A district may build, acquire, or obtain by any lawful means any property necessary for the district to carry out its purpose and the provisions of this chapter.(b) A district may: (1) acquire land to erect dams or to drain lakes, draws, and depressions;(3) drain lakes, depressions, draws, and creeks;(4) install pumps and other equipment necessary to recharge a groundwater reservoir or its subdivision; and(5) provide necessary facilities for water conservation purposes.Amended by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 560, Sec. 1, eff. 9/1/2003.Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 933, Sec. 2, eff. 9/1/1995.
