Section 17.893 - Subchapter Cumulative of Other Laws(a) This subchapter is cumulative of other laws on the subject, and the board may use provisions of other applicable laws in the issuance of its bonds and other obligations, but this subchapter is wholly sufficient authority for the issuance of bonds and the performance of all other acts and procedures authorized by this subchapter.(b) In addition to other authority granted by this subchapter, the board may exercise the powers granted to the governing body of an issuer with regard to issuance of obligations under Chapter 1371, Government Code.Amended by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 8.412, eff. 9/1/2001.Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 1103, Sec. 1, eff. 9/1/1989.
