Section 6.190 - Contracts(a) The executive administrator, on behalf of the board, may negotiate with and, with the consent of the board, may enter into contracts with the United States or any of its agencies for the purpose of carrying out the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the board.(b) The executive administrator, on behalf of the board, may negotiate with and, with the consent of the board, may enter into contracts or other agreements with states and political subdivisions of this state or other entity for the purpose of carrying out the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the board.(c) The executive administrator, on behalf of the board, shall obtain the approval of the attorney general as to the legality of a resolution of the board authorizing state ownership in a project.Added by Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 795, Sec. 1.002, eff. 9/1/1985.
