Section 251.055 - Board of Directors(a) The board of directors of the corporation is composed of the following 12 members appointed by the governor:(1) six representatives of the general public;(2) one representative of the gas industry;(3) one representative of the telecommunications industry;(4) one representative of the electric industry;(5) one representative of cable television companies;(6) one representative of municipalities; and(7) one representative of persons who engage in excavation operations who are not also facility operators.(b) Board membership is voluntary and a director is not entitled to receive compensation for serving on the board.Tex.
