Section 39.354 - Registration of Municipal Aggregators(a) A municipal aggregator may not provide aggregation services in the state unless the municipal aggregator registers with the commission.(b) In this section, "municipal aggregator" means a person authorized by two or more municipal governing bodies to join the bodies into a single purchasing unit to negotiate the purchase of electricity from retail electric providers or aggregation by a municipality under Chapter 304, Local Government Code.(c) A municipal aggregator may register any time after September 1, 2000.
