Section 6903.053 - Petition for Annexation; Board Findings and Resolution
(a) The board may annex territory under this subchapter if a petition requesting annexation is signed by 50 registered voters of the territory to be annexed who own taxable property in that territory, or a majority of the registered voters of that territory who own taxable property in that territory, and is filed with the board.
