Section 3855.052 - Appointment of Directors(a) The mayor and members of the governing body of the city shall appoint voting directors from persons recommended by the board. A person is appointed if a majority of the members of the governing body, including the mayor in case of a tie, vote to appoint that person.(b) Section 375.063(2), Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.Tex.
