Section 1105.051 - Board Election; Term(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors elected from the district at large in the manner provided by Section 5. (b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code: (1) directors serve staggered two-year terms with the terms of three or four directors expiring each year as appropriate; and(2) a directors' election shall be held annually on the May uniform election date or another date authorized by law.Tex.
