Section 1066.106 - District Property, Facilities, and Equipment(a) The board shall determine:(1) the type, number, and location of buildings required to maintain the clinic or an adequate hospital system; and(2) the type of equipment necessary for medical care.(b) The board may: (1) acquire property, including facilities and equipment, for the district for the clinic or the hospital system; and(2) mortgage or pledge the property as security for the payment of the purchase price.(c) The board may lease district facilities for the district.(d) The board may sell or otherwise dispose of property, including facilities or equipment, for the district.Tex.
