Section 66.009 - Navigation Districts(a) No person may use a seine or net of any type, trotline, or other mechanical or physical device, except hook and line, to catch fish in a channel, turning basin, or other water of a navigation district operating under Chapter 63, Water Code.(b) The possession of a mechanical device referred to in Subsection (a) of this section within a navigation district operating under Chapter 63, Water Code, is prima facie evidence of a violation of Subsection (a) of this section.(c) Repealed by Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 267, art. 3, Sec. 110, eff.
