Section 1603.209 - Infectious and Contagious Diseases(a) A person holding a license or permit issued under Subchapter E-1 may not perform any practice of barbering or cosmetology if the person knows the person is suffering from an infectious or contagious disease for which the person is not entitled to protection under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq.).(b) A person holding an establishment or school license may not employ a person to perform any practice of barbering or cosmetology or to instruct in the practice of barbering or cosmetology if the license holder knows that the person is suffering from an infectious or contagious disease for which the person is not entitled to protection under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C.
