Section 1103.453 - Peer Investigative Committee(a) The presiding officer of the board, with the advice and consent of the executive committee, may appoint a peer investigative committee.(b) A peer investigative committee consists of two or more certified or licensed appraisers. The presiding officer of the committee must be an appraiser member of the board. Each remaining committee member shall certify to the board that the member is familiar with the appraisal process in the appraisal that is the subject of the complaint.(c) The peer investigative committee shall:(1) review and determine the facts of a complaint; and(2) submit a written report regarding the complaint to the board in a timely manner.Tex.
