Section 1053.053 - Gifts and Grants(a) The board may accept a gift or grant from any source to pay for any activity under this chapter.(b) A gift or grant must be accepted in an open meeting by a majority of the board and reported in the minutes with the name of the donor and purpose of the gift or grant.Tex.
