Section 1002.261 - Issuance of License(a) The board shall issue a license to an applicant who meets the requirements of this chapter on payment of the applicable license fee.(b) The license must: (1) show the full name of the license holder;(2) have a serial number;(3) state the license holder's discipline of geoscience; and(4) be signed by an appropriate officer of the board under the board's seal.(c) The issuance by the board of a license is prima facie evidence that during the term of the license the license holder is entitled to all the rights and privileges of a licensed geoscientist.(d) A licensed geoscientist may engage in the practice of any discipline of geoscience regardless of the discipline of geoscience stated on the person's license.Tex.
