Section 1001.311 - Application By Nonresident(a) A person who holds a license or certificate of registration issued by another state or a foreign country may apply under this chapter for a license in this state.(b) The board may waive any prerequisite to obtaining a license under this chapter for an applicant after reviewing the applicant's credentials and determining that the applicant holds a license issued by another jurisdiction that has licensing requirements substantially equivalent to those of this state.Tex.
