Section 901.251 - Certificate Required(a) A person who is an individual may not engage in the practice of public accountancy unless the person holds a certificate issued under this chapter or practices in this state under a privilege under Section 901.462.(b) The board shall issue a certificate to a person who meets the applicable requirements of this chapter.Amended By Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 315, Sec. 2, eff. 9/1/2007.
