Section 702.557 - Criminal Offense: Interference With Investigation(a) A person commits an offense if with actual notice that the attorney general, or a district or county attorney, has initiated, or plans to initiate, an investigation under this chapter the person intentionally conceals, alters, destroys, or falsifies a document or record that is relevant or material to the investigation.(b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.
