Section 452.057 - Compensation; Reimbursement(a) The presiding officer of the executive council is entitled to a per diem as provided by the General Appropriations Act for each day that the presiding officer engages in the business of the executive council.(b) A member of the executive council, other than the presiding officer, may not receive compensation for service on the executive council. A member may receive reimbursement for transportation expenses as provided by the General Appropriations Act. A member may not receive reimbursement for any other travel expenses, including expenses for meals and lodging. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. 9/1/1999.
