Tex. Occ. Code § 402.057

Section 402.057 - Presiding Officer

The presiding officer of the commission shall designate a member of the advisory board to serve as the presiding officer of the advisory board for a term of one year. The presiding officer of the advisory board may vote on any matter before the advisory board.
