Section 401.402 - Practice By Speech-Language Pathologists(a) A speech-language pathologist may perform basic audiometric screening tests and aural habilitation or rehabilitation.(b) A person licensed as a speech-language pathologist under this chapter may not fit or dispense hearing instruments unless the person meets the specific requirements for fitting and dispensing hearing instruments under this chapter or Chapter 402.Amended by Acts 2017, Texas Acts of the 85th Leg. - Regular Session, ch. 1105,Sec. 2.003, eff. 9/1/2017.
