Section 351.154 - Application of Fees(a) Except as otherwise provided by this section, the board shall apply the funds realized from all fees payable under this chapter first to pay all necessary expenses of the board and then, by order of the board, to compensate members of the board.(b) The board shall deposit in the University of Houston development fund 15 percent of each renewal fee collected by the board under Section 351.152. The money paid to that fund under this subsection may be used solely for scholarships or improvements in the physical facilities, including library facilities, of the College of Optometry.Amended by Acts 2017, Texas Acts of the 85th Leg. - Regular Session, ch. 385,Sec. 3, eff. 9/1/2017.
