Section 2301.253 - License Required: Vehicle Lease Facilitators Unless a person holds a vehicle lease facilitator license and complies with this chapter, the person may not:
(1) act in the capacity of or engage in the business of a vehicle lease facilitator;(2) hold the person out to any other person as a "leasing company," "leasing agent," "lease facilitator," or similar title, directly or indirectly engaged in the business of a vehicle lease facilitator; or(3) otherwise engage in the solicitation or procurement of a prospective lessee for a motor vehicle that is not titled in the name of and registered to the person.Tex.
