Section 1804.204 - Civil Penalties(a) A person who violates this chapter is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for each violation.(b) A person who violates an injunction issued under this chapter is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not less than $100,000.(c) The attorney general shall bring an action to recover a civil penalty.(d) If the violator has filed a bond under this chapter, the suit may be brought against the bond.Tex.
